Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients undergoing dialysis treatment. Also, since it contains lactose, it should not be administered to patients with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Caution is advised for patients with a history of allergic reactions or those taking other medications, as well as for patients with kidney or liver dysfunction. This medication contains the pigment Yellow No. 4, so individuals who are sensitive to it or have a history of allergies should use it with care. If allergic symptoms such as skin rash or itching occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a specialist. Rarely, symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, lethargy, or headache may occur, so if these symptoms arise, consult a doctor or pharmacist and discontinue use. Constipation or dry mouth may also occur rarely, so seek medical attention if these symptoms appear. Rapid heartbeats may occur rarely, and liver function test results may rise, so caution is needed. Patients with high blood pressure, elderly individuals, those with heart or kidney issues, or those with edema should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as decreased urine output, facial or limb swelling, eyelid heaviness, hand stiffness, elevated blood pressure, or headaches occur after taking the medication, consult a specialist immediately and stop taking it. Regular monitoring of serum potassium levels is necessary if taken in high doses over an extended period due to the risk of hypokalemia, elevated blood pressure, and fluid retention. If symptoms of muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis occur due to hypokalemia, discontinue use and consult medical staff immediately. Caution is needed if taken with medications containing potassium or licorice, or specific diuretics due to a higher risk of side effects. This medication is best not taken for long periods, and if symptoms do not improve after more than 2 weeks, consult a specialist. This medication should not be taken with gastric pain relievers or antispasmodics, and should not be used in children under 15 years old, or by pregnant or breastfeeding women. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store it in a cool and dry place. It is important to not transfer it to another container to maintain quality.
