Precautions

This medication improves blood circulation and inhibits platelet aggregation. Taking this medication may increase heart rate, which could present a risk of angina symptoms, therefore careful observation of symptoms such as chest pain is necessary. It should not be administered to patients at high risk of bleeding, those who have recently bled, patients with congestive heart failure, patients allergic to this medication or its ingredients, and pregnant or breastfeeding women. Patients taking medications that may increase bleeding risk, such as anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents, women who are menstruating, patients with coronary artery stenosis, patients with severely impaired kidney or liver function, and patients with diabetes should use this medication with caution. Side effects may include headaches, diarrhea, palpitations, joint pain, chest discomfort, etc., and serious adverse effects may include severe bleeding, blood anomalies, liver disease, pneumonia, and heart problems; if any abnormal symptoms occur, medical consultation should be sought immediately. In patients with cerebral infarction, treatment should start only after symptoms are stabilized, and attention should be paid to blood pressure control and interactions with other antiplatelet agents. This medication may cause dizziness, so caution is advised when driving or operating machinery. Taking this medication with food may increase blood concentration and the risk of side effects; therefore, it is recommended to take it on an empty stomach. This medication is metabolized in the liver; therefore, its concentration may increase when combined with certain drugs, necessitating dosage adjustment and caution. It should not be taken with grapefruit juice. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take this medication, and special caution is needed for children and the elderly as body functions may differ. In cases of overdose, severe headaches, diarrhea, hypotension, and tachycardia may occur, requiring immediate medical attention for appropriate treatment.
