It alleviates pain and stiffness caused by arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, and helps reduce painful swelling or inflammation resulting from trauma or surgery. Additionally, it aids in the recovery from infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever. This drug is used to improve symptoms related to joints and inflammation.

How to take

Adult dose

Administer 300 mg of dexibuprofen orally 2 to 4 times a day. However, do not exceed 1,200 mg of dexibuprofen in a day.

Precautions

This medicine should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist before use for individuals who regularly consume more than 3 drinks a day. For those who drink a lot of alcohol, taking this medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication can affect the cardiovascular system and may increase the risk of heart or cerebrovascular diseases. People with existing cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should be closely monitored for cardiovascular symptoms during use. Patients with hypertension, heart failure, or ischemic heart disease should avoid high doses of this medication. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not use this medication concurrently with aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Avoid using concurrently with anticoagulants, corticosteroids, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, sulfonylureas, ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor antagonists, diuretics, lithium, coumarin anticoagulants (such as warfarin), baclofen, immunosuppressants (like cyclosporine, tacrolimus, sirolimus), thrombolytics, ticlopidine.

Food interactions
