This medication is used to reduce elevated triglyceride levels in patients with endogenous hypertriglyceridemia. It is particularly applied as a monotherapy for patients with hypertriglyceridemia (Type IV), and is prescribed in combination with statins for patients with mixed hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia (Type IIb). Additionally, it is effective as combination therapy for patients whose triglyceride levels are not controlled. This drug helps effectively manage lipid levels and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, this medication is used for the treatment of patients with hypertriglyceridemia and mixed hyperlipidemia.
