View approved original text

This medication is used for the treatment of essential hypertension, effectively regulating blood pressure and lowering the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It is particularly suitable for patients over 55 years who are at high risk and cannot be treated with ACE inhibitors, including those with a history of cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, and stroke, or patients who have developed end-organ damage due to diabetes. This medication helps reduce the risk of death from myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, it can be expected to control blood pressure and prevent cardiovascular complications simultaneously. It is used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases tailored to the patient's health status.
