How to take

Adult dose

For donepezil hydrochloride, administer 5 mg once daily before bedtime. Maintain the dose at 5 mg for 4 to 6 weeks, and after evaluating the clinical response during this period, the dose may be increased to 10 mg. When increasing to 10 mg per day, administer while monitoring for gastrointestinal adverse reactions. Precautions

Additionally, common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dizziness, insomnia, tremors, anxiety, drowsiness, fever, rash, itching, myalgia, urinary incontinence, hypertension, palpitations, bradycardia, atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, abdominal pain, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, anemia, neuroexcitation, confusion, involuntary movements, gait disturbances, aggressive behavior, confusion, hallucinations, drowsiness, pain, hives, lethargy, insomnia, and vascular abnormalities may occur. This medicine can affect the heart, so patients with heart disease or electrolyte imbalances may need an electrocardiogram. Be cautious while driving or operating machinery as dizziness or drowsiness may occur. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid using this medicine, and if necessary, should consult a specialist before deciding. Safety in children has not been established, so it is advisable not to use it in children. This medicine may interact with other medications, so inform your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking. Overdose may lead to risks such as nausea, vomiting, bradycardia, hypotension, and respiratory depression, so it is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration instructions. Keep out of the reach of children and do not transfer to other containers for safety.
