If symptoms of hypersensitivity such as rash, itching, or urticaria occur, use should be discontinued. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, dyspepsia, constipation, vomiting, heartburn, and diarrhea may occur during use; if symptoms are severe, consult a healthcare professional. This medication may interact with other drugs, so caution should be taken not to take it simultaneously with penicillamine or levothyroxine sodium. For pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, the administration of this drug should be decided carefully, and breastfeeding is recommended to be discontinued if nursing. Safety in children has not been sufficiently established, so it is advisable not to use it in pediatric patients.
