Efficacy & effects

Improvement of essential hypertension blood pressure control

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Amlodipine or olmesartan medoxomil is used as monotherapy in patients with essential hypertension when blood pressure is poorly controlled. These drugs dilate blood vessels to lower blood pressure, thereby reducing cardiovascular strain and the risk of complications. They effectively control blood pressure through different mechanisms of action, aiding in the management of patients' blood pressure. Thus, they play an important role in improving the treatment of essential hypertension.
