Children who are malnourished or individuals with a damp-heat constitution should use this medication cautiously. Individuals with high blood pressure, older adults, those with heart or kidney issues, those with edema, and individuals currently receiving medical treatment should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If during the course of treatment, symptoms such as reduced urine output, swelling of the face or extremities, heavy eyelids, stiffness in the hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches occur, the medication should be immediately discontinued and a professional consulted. Additionally, this medication contains licorice, and long-term use may lead to problems such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, accumulation of sodium and fluid in the body, edema, and weight gain, thus regular blood tests should be conducted to monitor the condition. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis occur, the medication should be discontinued and a physician consulted. During treatment, caution is needed when combined with potassium-rich medications, medications containing licorice, and certain types of diuretics as side effects may worsen. When using this medication for an extended period, symptoms like thirst or a distorted tongue may appear, so care is recommended. It is also advisable not to use Banha with the ingredient Odu. When storing, keep it in a tightly closed container away from direct sunlight and moisture, and do not transfer it to other containers as it helps maintain quality.
