This medication is used for patients who require the simultaneous administration of telmisartan and rosuvastatin. Telmisartan treats essential hypertension and reduces the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and mortality due to cardiovascular disease in high-risk patients. Rosuvastatin improves hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia, helping to delay the progression of atherosclerosis. Additionally, it reduces the risk associated with stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular revascularization in patients at high risk of cardiovascular disease. Therefore, this medication is used to improve the condition of patients with cardiovascular risk factors, such as hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
