This medication is used for patients who need to take Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin simultaneously. Telmisartan primarily treats essential hypertension and helps lower the risk of cardiovascular disease. It particularly reduces the risks of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular-related mortality in patients at high risk for cardiovascular disease. Rosuvastatin improves dyslipidemias such as hypercholesterolemia and mixed hyperlipidemia and slows the progression of atherosclerosis. Additionally, it is effective in reducing the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular revascularization in certain high-risk groups. Overall, this medication is used to maintain cardiovascular health by improving blood pressure and blood lipid levels.
