This medication is used for patients who need to take telmisartan and rosuvastatin simultaneously. Telmisartan helps control essential hypertension and reduces the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and death from cardiovascular disease in high-risk groups. Rosuvastatin calcium is used as an adjunct to diet for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia and combined hyperlipidemia, delaying the progression of atherosclerosis and reducing cardiovascular disease risk. It includes patients with familial heterozygous hypercholesterolemia or abnormal beta-lipoproteinemia. The combination of these two medications is effective in reducing cardiovascular risk and managing cholesterol. Therefore, it is used to improve cardiovascular health.
