This medication is used for patients who require simultaneous administration of Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin. Telmisartan is primarily used to treat essential hypertension and helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It particularly lowers the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and death due to cardiovascular diseases in high-risk patients who cannot use ACE inhibitors. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct to dietary management in patients with hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia, to delay the progression of atherosclerosis and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Additionally, it has effects in reducing the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization in certain high-risk patients. The combination of these two ingredients is effectively used for managing cardiovascular diseases in patients with concurrent hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
