This medication is used to improve ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and coldness associated with chronic arterial occlusive disease, and to inhibit recurrence after the occurrence of cerebral infarction.

How to take

Adult dose

As Cilostazol, the usual adult dose is 200 mg orally once a day. This medication should be taken on an empty stomach, avoiding meals.

Precautions

This medication may increase heart rate, which can pose a risk of angina symptoms; therefore, careful observation for symptoms such as chest pain is necessary. It should not be used in patients at high risk of bleeding or those who have had recent bleeding disorders, nor in patients with congestive heart failure or allergies to this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should not take this medication. Patients taking anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents, which affect blood clotting, may experience increased risk of bleeding, so caution is needed.
