How to take

Adult dose

For cilostazol, the usual adult dose is 200mg orally, once daily. This medicine should be taken on an empty stomach, avoiding meals.

Precautions

This medicine may increase heart rate, which poses a risk of angina symptoms, thus careful observation of symptoms like chest pain is necessary. This medicine should not be used in patients with a tendency to bleed or those who have had recent bleeding disorders, as well as in patients with congestive heart failure, those allergic to this medicine, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers.
