How to take

Adult dose

For cilostazol, the usual adult dosage is 200mg taken orally once a day. This medication should be taken on an empty stomach, avoiding food.

Precautions

This medication may increase heart rate, which can result in symptoms of angina such as chest pain; thus, careful monitoring for angina symptoms is required. It should not be used in patients with tendencies towards bleeding or at high risk of bleeding, patients with heart failure, those with allergies to this medication or its components, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
