This medication helps alleviate inflammation symptoms accompanied by swelling or edema. It is also used to reduce swelling that occurs after trauma or surgery, thus promoting recovery.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

As bromelain, take 100 mg at a time, twice a day. Take with water 30 minutes before meals.

Children's dosage

Children over 12 years of age follow the same dosage as adults.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by patients with severe blood coagulation disorders where blood does not clot normally, such as hemophiliacs. Additionally, patients with very weak liver or kidney function, especially those undergoing dialysis, should also avoid taking this medicine. People taking anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors should avoid taking this medicine as it may increase the risk of bleeding. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take this medicine as its safety has not been established. Children under 12 years of age should also not take this medicine. Patients taking antibiotics, especially drugs from the tetracycline class, should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. This medicine contains the pigment Yellow No. 5, so those who are allergic or sensitive to this component should exercise caution. If an allergic reaction occurs while taking this medicine, or if gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain or diarrhea develop, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. This medication must be stored out of reach of children and kept in its original container, as transferring it to another container may result in incorrect dosing or decrease the quality of the medicine, so it should always be stored in the original container with the lid tightly closed.
