Precautions

Caution should be exercised as this medication may worsen symptoms in patients with skin infections. Patients who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients, or have experienced hypersensitivity reactions, should not use it. Patients with external otitis who have perforations in the eardrum should avoid its use as healing may be delayed. It is advisable to avoid using this medication in patients with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite as it may interfere with skin regeneration. Patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea should not use this medication. It is safe to avoid use in patients experiencing itching around the anus or genital area. This medication should not be used in children under 2 years of age. Pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers should use this medication cautiously and consult a physician if necessary. Children and elderly individuals have a higher risk of experiencing side effects, so caution is required when using this medication. Patients allergic to the propylene glycol component of this formulation should be especially careful. In principle, this medication should not be used for eczema or dermatitis with concurrent skin infections; however, if it must be used, it is advisable to use it in conjunction with antibiotics or antifungals. If this medication is used extensively or for a long period of time, regular checks may be necessary as it may suppress the body's hormonal function. Once symptoms improve, it is important to discontinue use as soon as possible, and if symptoms worsen, the use should be immediately stopped. Care should be taken when applying it around the eyes as there is a risk of elevated intraocular pressure or glaucoma. This medication is not for ophthalmic use and should not be used for purposes other than treatment after makeup or shaving. When using occlusive dressings, follow the doctor's instructions carefully and ensure that the affected area is clean before use. Store in a safe place out of reach of children. Children have a higher risk of adverse effects due to their higher weight-to-surface area ratio, so it is advisable not to use it for more than 3 weeks. Elderly individuals are at a higher risk of adverse effects and should be closely monitored if using large amounts or for extended periods.
