Precautions

This medication may lead to the severe lung disease known as interstitial pneumonia during use, so if fever, cough, difficulty breathing, abnormal sounds from the lungs, or abnormalities are found on chest X-ray, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. People taking interferon preparations, patients with liver cirrhosis or liver cancer, and those with very low platelet counts due to chronic hepatitis should not take this medication. Additionally, during the use of this medication, do not take it with interferon preparations, as the risk of interstitial pneumonia may increase when taken together. Patients with hypertension, problems with heart or kidney function, individuals with edema, patients taking other medications, elderly individuals, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, children, patients with severely weakened physical condition, patients with low platelet counts due to chronic hepatitis, patients with liver disease, and those who have previously experienced allergic reactions such as skin rashes or itching due to medication must consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as swelling of the face or hands, increased blood pressure, headache, muscle weakness or pain, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, fever and cough, difficulty breathing, skin rashes, itching, abnormal urination occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for more than a month, discontinue use and consult a professional. It is generally advised not to take this medication for an extended period; if long-term use is unavoidable, consult a professional. It is crucial to adhere to the prescribed methods and dosages, and caution should be taken when taking potassium-containing medications or certain diuretics, as hypokalemia or muscle abnormalities may occur. When taking this medication with other herbal remedies, verify that there are no overlapping ingredients, and if platelet counts decrease in patients with chronic hepatitis while taking the medication, it should be discontinued. Store this medication in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight, and keep it out of reach of children.
