How to take

Adult dose

For hemostasis and improvement of subjective symptoms of gastric and duodenal ulcers and erosive gastritis and improvement of subjective symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease: typically, sodium alginate is taken orally at 1-3g (approximately 20-60mL) 3-4 times a day on an empty stomach. If oral administration is not possible, it is administered via nasal tube (sonde). Precautions

This medication reacts with gastric acid in the stomach to form a gel. If this process does not occur properly, the effectiveness of the medication may be reduced.
