This medicine is used for dermaitis and itching due to eczema, dermatitis, prickly heat, poison ivy, and other skin conditions such as chilblains and insect bites, as well as hives.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to several times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in children under 30 months of age. This medication should not be applied to sensitive areas such as the eyes, around the eyes, or mucous membranes. It is also advisable not to use on areas with eczema or wounds, or on sensitive skin. Care should be taken not to apply a large amount on peeled skin or areas with blisters during use. Anyone who has had an allergic reaction to medications or cosmetics, those with a history of allergic conditions, or those with moist or macerated skin should consult a physician or pharmacist before using this medication. Patients undergoing treatment, young children, and individuals with cardiovascular disease or diabetes should also consult professionals before use.
