Moreover, this medication may cause menstruation to occur earlier than expected or cause prolonged bleeding, so caution is advised, and women taking oral contraceptives containing estrogen or those at risk of thrombosis may have an increased risk of thrombosis. Long-term high-dose use may lead to tolerance, and prolonged intake of pyridoxine at doses from 500 mg to 2 g may cause neurological damage symptoms. High-dose use can worsen peptic ulcers or cause glucose intolerance, hyperuricemia, and liver damage, so caution is required. In cases of excessive intake, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema may occur, and caution should be taken as there may be a risk of hyperkalemia when combined with specific diuretics. If overdose occurs or symptoms do not improve after about one month of use, consult a healthcare professional immediately. This medication must be taken according to the specified dosage and regimen, and supervision by a caregiver is required when administering it to children. While taking, consult with a doctor or pharmacist, as it may affect blood sugar tests or urine test results and urine may turn yellow.
