This medication is used to relieve gastrointestinal symptoms such as excessive stomach acid, heartburn, and indigestion.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 16 or older: take 1 tablet (10 mg) once, up to a maximum of 2 tablets (20 mg) per day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to certain ingredients or have issues digesting lactose. People who have difficulty swallowing, are experiencing bleeding symptoms, have heartburn lasting more than three months, or have dizziness or chest pain should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. It is important for individuals with kidney or liver problems, heart disease, the elderly, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women to consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If you are taking other medications, especially antifungals or certain anti-cancer drugs, you must report and seek advice, as there may be interactions. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after taking the medication, stop immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist, and be cautious not to take it continuously for more than 14 days. Rarely, allergic reactions or abnormal symptoms in the blood, skin, liver, muscles, heart, or nervous system may occur, so if these symptoms arise, stop taking the medication immediately and inform a healthcare professional. This medication may mask symptoms of stomach cancer; therefore, it should only be used for a short period for symptom relief and should not be taken with alcoholic beverages. If there are any changes in your condition after taking the medication, be sure to consult a doctor or pharmacist, and patients undergoing hemodialysis should exercise caution when using this medication with specific formulations. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in its original container for safe use.

Drug interactions
