Adult dose

The recommended dosage of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., morning). For patients with renal impairment, no dosage adjustment is needed for mild and moderate renal impairment; however, patients with severe renal impairment should start treatment with a lower dose and gradually increase it. Patients with liver impairment should not exceed a daily dose of 40 milligrams. Elderly patients should also be carefully monitored during dosage escalation.

Child dose

The safety and efficacy of this medication in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established, therefore its use is not recommended.

This medication can pose serious risks to the fetus or newborn, particularly during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, and should not be used by pregnant women or women who may become pregnant. Patients with an allergy to the active ingredients or serious conditions such as certain liver or heart diseases, severe hypotension, heart failure, etc., should not take this medication. Patients with impaired liver function, certain heart valve disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, reduced kidney function, the elderly, etc., should use this medication with caution. Common side effects such as dizziness or swelling may occur during the use of this medication, and rare but serious side effects have also been reported, so any abnormal symptoms should be immediately discussed with a healthcare provider. Taking this medication during pregnancy can lead to dangerous conditions such as impaired fetal kidney function, skull formation abnormalities, and hypotension; thus, if pregnancy is confirmed, the medication should be discontinued immediately. It is also advisable for breastfeeding women to avoid using this medication, and consultation with a specialist is necessary before use. This medication may interact with other drugs, and caution is required when used with lithium, digoxin, warfarin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, etc. Symptoms of hypotension may occur, so if symptoms develop, the patient should be lying down and intravenous fluids may be administered as necessary. Caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery due to possible dizziness or drowsiness. In cases of overdose, severe hypotension and cardiac issues may occur, requiring immediate emergency treatment and following medical advice for appropriate management. Store out of reach of children, keep the product in its original packaging, and open the packaging immediately before use.

This medication is sensitive to light and should be stored in a container that does not allow light in. Additionally, it is important to maintain a room temperature, specifically between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius, while storing the medication to safely preserve its efficacy.
