Relief of symptoms such as eczema, dermatitis, and itchy skin
This medication is used for eczema, dermatitis, itchy skin, and insect bites.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day and adjust according to symptoms.
This medication should not be used in patients with infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, as symptoms may worsen. Individuals who are allergic to or have previously shown hypersensitivity to any of the components of this medication should avoid using it. Caution should be exercised when using this medication in patients with eczema of the external ear canal if there is a perforation in the eardrum, as wound healing may be delayed. It is advisable not to use this medication in patients with skin ulcers or those suffering from severe burns or frostbite, as skin regeneration may be compromised. Patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea are recommended not to use this medication. Children under the age of 2 should not use this medication. Women who are pregnant, possibly pregnant, or nursing should use this medication with caution and only under the guidance of a physician, if deemed necessary. Children and elderly patients should use this medication carefully, as they are at a higher risk for side effects. This medication contains propylene glycol; therefore, individuals allergic to this component should consult with a physician before use. There is a potential for skin infections to occur while using this medication, so if any infection symptoms appear, use should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment sought. Long-term use or application over large areas may lead to side effects such as acne, skin thinning, or vasodilation; it is recommended to reduce or stop use if symptoms occur. Large amount or long-term use may affect the hormonal balance in the body, so it should be used according to a physician’s instructions. Caution is advised when using around the eyes, as there is a risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma, and prolonged use may necessitate ophthalmic examination. In principle, this medication should not be used for eczema or dermatitis accompanied by skin infections; if necessary, it is best to use it in conjunction with antibiotics or antifungals. Prolonged use over large areas or utilizing occlusive dressings may result in systemic side effects, making regular check-ups necessary. Once symptoms improve, discontinuation should be done as soon as possible; if symptoms worsen or do not improve, use should be stopped immediately. It is safe to limit the treatment duration to within 7 days. If symptoms such as changes in vision or blurriness occur during use, immediate consultation with an ophthalmologist is necessary. Pregnant women should carefully consider the potential effects of this medication on the fetus, weighing the benefits against the risks. Nursing mothers should use caution as the drug may be transmitted through breast milk. Children have a larger skin surface area relative to their body weight compared to adults, hence there is an increased risk for hormonal suppression or growth disturbances, necessitating extra caution. Using this medication in diaper areas may exhibit effects similar to occlusive dressings, thus raising the risk of side effects. Elderly individuals may experience side effects more readily, so careful observation is necessary during extensive or prolonged use. This medication is not intended for use in the eyes, and it is advisable to avoid applying it after cosmetics or shaving. When using occlusive dressings, it is essential to follow the physician's instructions and to ensure the affected area is clean to minimize infection risks. Store in a safe place away from children's reach.
Skin infections (bacterial and fungal infections), increased intraocular pressure, glaucoma, posterior capsule cataract
