This medication is used for various skin issues such as wounds, burns, lacerations (e.g., nipple cracks occurring during breastfeeding), pressure sores, acute and chronic dermatitis, eczema, skin ulcers, diaper rash, and sunburn (sunlight dermatitis).

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply to the affected area once daily or as needed after cleaning the wound. For nipple cracks during breastfeeding, apply immediately after each feeding. For diaper rash, apply after changing the diaper.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have experienced allergic reactions to this medication or its excipients. Additionally, patients with infectious skin diseases or exudative skin diseases should not use this medication. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes when using this medication, and if it does come into contact, it should be rinsed immediately. If cracked nipples occur while breastfeeding and this medication is applied, it should be wiped off before breastfeeding to prevent the baby from ingesting the medication. Occasionally, allergic reactions may occur with the use of this medication, so if symptoms such as contact dermatitis, itching, rash, or hives appear, consult a doctor or pharmacist immediately. This medication is known not to affect the ability to operate machinery or drive. There have been no reported interactions with other medications or other formulations.
