This medication is effective for various diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tract, including ulcers of the stomach and duodenum as well as bleeding at the ulcer site. It is also used for specific conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It helps improve damage to the gastric mucosa during acute exacerbation of both acute and chronic gastritis. How to take

This medication should not be used by anyone who has had an allergic reaction to this drug's ingredients or other H2 receptor antagonists. It contains lactose, so individuals with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should also avoid it. Patients with a history of allergic reactions, poor kidney function, heart disease, liver dysfunction, and the elderly should exercise special caution when using this drug. During the use of this medication, serious side effects may occur; therefore, it is important to consult a doctor immediately if you experience dizziness, rash, difficulty in breathing, hematological symptoms, or abnormalities in the skin or mucous membranes. Additionally, symptoms such as liver dysfunction, myalgia, arrhythmias, altered consciousness, kidney issues, and pneumonia symptoms may occur, so symptoms should be monitored carefully. This drug dissolves in the mouth but is not absorbed through the oral mucosa, so it is advisable to swallow it using water or saliva. Patients undergoing hemodialysis may have interactions with this drug and other medications, so they should consult a doctor. There may also be interactions with other drugs; caution is especially necessary when taking antifungal agents or specific anticancer drugs.
