This medicine is used for major arthritis and pain such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis), periarthritis of the shoulder, low back pain, and sciatica.

How to take

Adult dose

As aceclofenac, take 200 mg once a day. This medication should be taken whole without chewing or crushing. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Precautions

If you regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily, there is a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, and you should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. This medication may affect the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems, so those at risk of heart disease or cerebrovascular disease should use it cautiously and for the shortest duration possible at the lowest effective dose. It can cause serious gastrointestinal issues like gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, so particularly elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases should exercise caution. Patients with active peptic ulcers or bleeding, allergy to this drug or similar medications, asthma, severe heart failure, severe kidney or liver disease, and women in the late stages of pregnancy should not take this medication.
