In other words, this medication is used to alleviate symptoms caused by blood circulation problems and to prevent the recurrence of cerebral infarction, thereby protecting the patient's health.

Precautions

This medication works by thinning the blood to prevent thrombus formation. However, taking this medication may increase heart rate, leading to symptoms of angina such as chest pain, so it is important to carefully monitor for symptoms of angina. This drug should not be used in patients at high risk of bleeding or those with bleeding disorders, and patients who have recently had a hemorrhagic stroke or surgery should also avoid it. Patients with congestive heart failure, those allergic to this medication, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also avoid taking this medicine. Patients currently on anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, or thrombolytics should exercise caution as the risk of bleeding may increase. Women who are menstruating also face a risk of bleeding and should be administered this medication with caution. Particular care is needed for patients with severely impaired kidney or liver function, patients with diabetes, those with severe hypertension, and patients with cardiac arrhythmias. This medication may cause side effects such as headaches, diarrhea, palpitations, joint pain, and chest discomfort; if serious bleeding or abnormalities in blood symptoms appear, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a physician. Dizziness may occur while taking this medication, so caution is advised when driving or operating machinery. Taking this medication with food can increase blood concentration, raising the risk of side effects, so it is recommended to take it on an empty stomach, particularly after a high-fat meal. This medication is metabolized in the liver, so attention should be paid to drug interactions when taken with other medications that affect liver metabolism, and it is safer not to take it with grapefruit juice. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid taking this medication, and breastfeeding women should also refrain from using it. Safety in children and newborns has not been established, so it is advisable not to use it.
