Precautions

This drug may increase heart rate, which could lead to symptoms of angina, so careful observation of symptoms such as chest pain is necessary. Patients at risk of bleeding, those who have recently experienced a hemorrhagic stroke or surgery, patients with congestive heart failure, those allergic to this medication, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take it. Patients taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, thrombolytics, women during menstruation, patients with coronary artery stenosis, severely impaired kidney or liver function, and diabetic patients should take this medication with caution. Common side effects may include headache, diarrhea, palpitations, joint swelling, and chest discomfort. In serious cases, symptoms like bleeding, heart failure, or liver dysfunction may occur, so any unusual symptoms should prompt immediate consultation with a doctor. This medication should be administered after stabilization of symptoms in patients with cerebral infarction, and blood pressure must be well-controlled, with dosage adjustments needed if excessive heart rate increase occurs. Caution is required when driving or operating machinery due to the possibility of dizziness. Taking with food may increase blood concentration and risk of side effects, so it is best to take on an empty stomach and to maintain a gap of more than 3 hours between meals and medication. There could be interactions with other medications, especially when combined with anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, or CYP3A4 or CYP2C19 inhibitors, so it must be administered under a doctor's direction, and grapefruit juice should be avoided. Pregnant or potentially pregnant women, as well as nursing mothers, should not take it, and dosage adjustments may be needed for children or the elderly based on their physical condition. In case of overdose, symptoms like headache, diarrhea, hypotension, and tachycardia may occur, requiring immediate medical attention.
