Additionally, as this medication contains lactose, patients with hereditary issues such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, and glucose-galactose malabsorption should avoid taking it. Patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to soybean oil, soy, peanuts, etc., should also avoid using this medication as a precaution. Patients with a history of drug hypersensitivity, or issues with liver or kidney function, patients undergoing dialysis, elderly patients, and patients with lipid metabolism disorders should take this medication cautiously. This medication can cause severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis; therefore, if symptoms like facial pallor, low blood pressure, or difficulty breathing appear, the medication should be stopped immediately and medical personnel should be informed. Clinical trials have relatively frequently reported gastrointestinal symptoms and liver function abnormalities, but serious adverse reactions were rare. If malignancy is suspected, this medication may alleviate symptoms and delay diagnosis; thus, if warning symptoms like weight loss, recurrent vomiting, or hematemesis occur, it is essential to undergo examination. If malignancy of the stomach is confirmed following initial examination, the use of this medication should be discontinued. During treatment, the patient's condition should be closely monitored, and the minimal effective dose should be used; if no effect is observed, alternative treatments should be considered. Especially for patients at risk of excessive fat overload, plasma lipid levels should be monitored, and dosing adjusted as necessary. Elderly patients should be cautious with dosage and administration intervals due to reduced physical function. Dialysis patients may experience elevated blood concentrations, so treatment should start with low doses and be administered cautiously. Pregnant women should take this medication only when the benefits outweigh the risks as determined by their physician, and breastfeeding women are advised not to use this medication as it may be secreted in breast milk.
