View approved original text

In patients with chronic hepatitis, there may be persistent elevation of ALT levels. This indicates damage to liver cells and the presence of inflammation. Appropriate medication is necessary to improve this condition. This medication helps to protect liver function and alleviate inflammation, thereby contributing to the recovery of liver health. Therefore, it is used for chronic hepatitis and elevated ALT symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals allergic to specific ingredients. Additionally, it contains lactose, so patients with a genetic disorder that prevents lactose digestion should avoid taking it. Patients with chronic hepatitis or cirrhosis with liver function issues should exercise special caution when using this medication. Taking this medication may cause side effects such as dry mouth, nausea, or skin rash; however, these symptoms may resolve when taken with antihistamines. Occasionally, temporary jaundice may occur; in such cases, discontinuing the medication or using jaundice treatment agents may improve the symptoms. Nausea or abdominal bloating may occur occasionally, but they typically resolve with time. Using this medication in conjunction with inosine may improve liver function indicators. Pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers should not take this medication. Elderly patients may experience decreased bodily functions, thus requiring a reduction in dosage and careful monitoring when using this medication. Although it is rare for liver function tests to deteriorate significantly while taking this medication, if the medication is discontinued, the levels may rise again, yet improvement can occur upon re-administration. Store the medication in a safe place out of reach of children and do not transfer it to another container; keeping it in its original packaging is important to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medication.
