View approved original text

This medication is administered alone as an adjunct to diet for the purpose of treating hypertriglyceridemia, particularly in patients with type IV who have elevated endogenous triglyceride levels. Additionally, in patients with type IIb where hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia are combined, it is used in conjunction with statins to enhance therapeutic effects. Especially in combined patients with uncontrolled triglyceride levels, it is used alongside statins for effective management of blood lipid levels. This treatment helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases by improving triglyceride and cholesterol levels. Therefore, this medication is used safely and effectively to improve and regulate dyslipidemia.
