Women who are breastfeeding should either stop nursing during treatment or discontinue the medication. Safety and effectiveness in infants under 1 year of age have not been confirmed, so it should not be used in this age group. This medication is for use in the eyes only, and care should be taken to avoid direct contact between the tip of the container and the eye during administration.
