Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections as it may worsen the symptoms. Additionally, individuals with allergies to this drug or its components or a history of hypersensitivity should avoid its use. Care should be taken when using this drug in patients with perforated eardrums due to eczema of the ear canal, as it may delay wound healing. It is recommended not to use this drug on areas with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite. Use should also be avoided in cases of perioral dermatitis, common acne, and rosacea. Those with allergies to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin should be cautious, as cross-allergies may occur. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, and children or infants should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. If symptoms of skin infection, irritation, rash, itching, redness, dry skin, or pustules occur while using this drug, it should be immediately stopped and a professional consulted. Long-term or extensive use may lead to serious side effects such as suppression of pituitary or adrenal function, glaucoma, or cataracts, so caution is required. When using around the eyes, special care should be taken due to the risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma. Prolonged use of this medication can lead to skin atrophy, pigmentation changes, hirsutism, or steroid-induced dermatitis, so dosage and duration should be strictly adhered to. Children are at greater risk for hormonal suppression or growth disorders due to increased drug absorption relative to body surface area, so use should be approached with caution. Once the therapeutic effect has been achieved, it is best to discontinue use as soon as possible, avoiding long-term or high-dose usage. The use of occlusive dressings can increase systemic absorption, raising the risk of side effects, so it should not be used without medical supervision. This drug is not for ophthalmic use, and it is recommended not to use it after makeup or shaving except for therapeutic purposes. Keep out of reach of children and do not transfer medications from their original container to other containers.
