Adult dose

The recommended dosage for this medication is one tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meal times. It is advisable to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). - 40/5 mg: Administered to patients whose blood pressure is inadequately controlled with amlodipine 5 mg or telmisartan 40 mg. - 80/5 mg: Administered to patients whose blood pressure is inadequately controlled with amlodipine 5 mg or this medication 40/5 mg.

Child dose

The safety and efficacy of this medication in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established; therefore, its use is not recommended.

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus, especially during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. This medication is contraindicated in patients with certain conditions. For example, individuals allergic to any component of this medication, those with severe liver impairment, severe hypotension, certain heart-related diseases, and women who are pregnant or nursing should not take this medication. Additionally, patients with primary hyperaldosteronism, certain heart valve diseases, liver disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, renal artery hypertension, dialysis patients, and elderly individuals should use this medication cautiously, ensuring appropriate dose adjustments and monitoring under medical supervision. The most common side effects when taking this medication include dizziness and peripheral edema, and serious side effects can occur rarely, so if any unusual symptoms arise, consult a healthcare professional immediately. This medication should be avoided during pregnancy, and if pregnancy is confirmed, it should be discontinued immediately and replaced with a safer treatment option. This medication lowers blood pressure; therefore, if hypotension occurs, the patient may need to be laid down, and fluid therapy may be required. There is a risk of increased potassium levels in the blood, so patients with poor renal function or heart failure should undergo regular blood tests to monitor potassium levels. Patients with impaired renal function may experience changes in kidney function while taking this medication, so regular kidney function tests are recommended. Patients with heart diseases should be cautious as this medication may worsen myocardial infarction or angina. This medication can cause drowsiness or dizziness; therefore, caution is needed when driving or operating hazardous machinery. Serious side effects

Hives, severe swelling (including angioedema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe allergic reactions and anaphylaxis, severe rash with fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in the oral/ocular mucosa, severe cutaneous adverse reactions, dyspnea, asthma attacks, respiratory abnormality accompanied by cough and fever, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), liver problems (jaundice), hepatitis, liver dysfunction, jaundice.

Mild side effects

Dizziness, peripheral edema, upper respiratory infection, urinary tract infection, anemia, hyperkalemia, depression, insomnia, palpitations, flushing, cough, changes in bowel habits (including diarrhea and constipation), abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, pruritus, rash, hair loss, joint swelling, muscle cramps, erectile dysfunction, asthenia, fatigue, increased liver enzymes, increased serum creatinine, weight gain, weight loss, increased blood uric acid, increased creatine phosphokinase.
