Precautions

This medication should not be used on areas with wounds or mucous membranes. It should be avoided in cases of bacterial, fungal, viral infections, or animal-related infections, as symptoms may worsen. Individuals allergic to this medication or its components, or who have had hypersensitivity reactions, should avoid using it. Patients with eczematous otitis media with a perforated eardrum should use caution, as healing may be delayed. It is advisable to avoid use in patients with ulcers, severe burns, frostbite, as skin regeneration may be inhibited, leading to delayed healing. Patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea should avoid this medication. Individuals allergic to certain antibiotics may experience hypersensitivity reactions when using this medication. Pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, nursing mothers, and children should use this medication with caution. Those allergic to propylene glycol, which is included in this medication, should take special care before use. If signs of infection occur or worsen, use should be stopped immediately, and consultation with healthcare professionals is recommended. Various skin side effects may occur such as skin irritation, rash, itching, and erythema; if these symptoms occur, usage should be stopped, and consultation with a specialist is advised. Long-term use may result in steroid-related skin changes, acne, skin thinning, and other side effects, so prolonged use should be avoided. Extensive or occlusive use of this medication may lead to systemic side effects, thus caution is advised. When using near the eyes, care should be taken to avoid contact, as there is a risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma. Rarely, infections caused by resistant strains may occur; if unusual symptoms appear, discontinue use. Long-term use may lead to kidney dysfunction or hearing loss; therefore, extended use should be avoided. Usage must strictly follow the prescribed dosage, and children should use it under adult supervision. When using topical corticosteroids, systemic absorption may occur, leading to hormonal suppression or other systemic symptoms, which may require regular monitoring. If symptoms do not improve or worsen, usage should be stopped immediately, and if symptoms improve, it is advisable to discontinue the medication as soon as possible. Avoid large quantities, prolonged, or extensive use, particularly occlusive techniques should be used under the guidance of a specialist. Local side effects such as skin thinning or erythema may arise, so caution is necessary when applying to sensitive areas like the face, neck, and genitals. If allergic symptoms (itching, erythema, swelling, vesicles, etc.) occur, usage should be stopped immediately, followed by consultation with healthcare professionals. This medication may affect the fetus when used during pregnancy, so it is safer for women who may become pregnant or are pregnant to avoid use. Nursing mothers should consult a physician before use, due to the possibility of transferring this medication into breast milk. Children may experience side effects more easily than adults due to lower body weight relative to body surface area, so extra caution is warranted. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water. Do not use for purposes other than treatment, such as after makeup or shaving, and occlusive techniques must always be performed under medical supervision. Store this medication out of reach of children to prevent accidents.
