Relief of symptoms associated with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis
This medication is effective for joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis, and it alleviates fever and pain caused by the common cold. It is also used for back pain, dysmenorrhea, and postoperative pain. Additionally, it is effective for ankylosing spondylitis, headaches, toothaches, muscle pain, neuralgia, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis, and soft tissue injuries such as sprains or strains. It may also be utilized for non-articular rheumatic diseases like tendinitis, tenosynovitis, and bursitis. This medication helps improve various pain and inflammation conditions, enhancing the quality of life for patients.
Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue injuries, non-articular rheumatic diseases, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis: Administer orally 200-600 mg of ibuprofen per single dose, 3-4 times daily. A maximum of 3200 mg can be administered per day. Mild to moderate pain, common cold: Administer orally 200-400 mg per single dose, 3-4 times a day, adjusting as appropriate according to age and symptoms.
Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis: Administer orally in divided doses of 30-40 mg per kg of body weight, 3-4 times a day. Children's single dose: Aged 11-14 years: 200-250 mg (10-13 ml) Aged 7-10 years:
This medication should be used with caution in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day due to the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding; consulting a doctor or pharmacist is essential. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including this medication, may pose risks for cardiovascular issues, especially in those with pre-existing cardiovascular diseases or risk factors. Serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions like gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforation may occur, so elderly patients or long-term users should be especially cautious. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe liver or kidney impairment, severe heart failure, and hypertension should not take this medication. Individuals who have hypersensitivity to aspirin or other NSAIDs or a history of asthma should also refrain from using it. It is advised to avoid this medication during the late stages of pregnancy to prevent adverse effects on the fetus and to be cautious when used in combination with anticancer drugs. Do not exceed the recommended dosage of this medication, and it is preferable not to take it alongside other NSAIDs. If nursing, this medication may pass into breast milk and cause adverse reactions in infants, so either breastfeeding should be stopped or the medication should be discontinued. Patients with blood disorders, liver or kidney impairment, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, or those taking specific medications must consult a physician or pharmacist prior to use. If allergic reactions, breathing difficulties, skin rashes, or gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms occur during use, the medication should be discontinued immediately, and medical assistance must be sought. Regular blood tests and liver function tests are important for long-term users to monitor for abnormalities. It is advisable that this medication be taken at the lowest effective dose for the shortest period possible, and if symptoms persist or worsen, consult a professional. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in its original container to prevent misuse or degradation of quality.
