Used in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled with combination therapy of Telmisartan and Amlodipine.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken once daily at a dose of one tablet with water, regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). In patients whose blood pressure is not controlled, a dose of 40/5/12.5 mg of this medication is administered, and the dosage is adjusted at intervals of more than 2 weeks based on the patient's blood pressure response. The maximum recommended dose is 80/10/25 mg.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus if taken during pregnancy, particularly in the second and third trimesters, so it should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Patients with allergies to any components of this medication or similar drugs, severely impaired liver or kidney function, breastfeeding women, and patients with certain heart diseases should not take this medication. Patients with specific conditions should use this medication with caution, especially those with kidney disease, liver disease, heart valve problems, elderly patients, and patients with electrolyte imbalances, should take it under the careful judgment of a physician. During the use of this medication, side effects such as dizziness, headaches, weakness, and gastrointestinal disturbances may occur, and in rare cases, serious side effects may also occur, so immediate consultation with a doctor is necessary if any abnormal symptoms appear.
