This medication helps relieve painful muscle spasms associated with musculoskeletal disorders. It is particularly used for conditions such as cervical radiculopathy, periarthritis of the shoulder, and lower back pain. It helps relax the muscles to reduce pain and improve movement, making it a suitable treatment option for patients experiencing discomfort from these symptoms.
As this medication is a sustained-release tablet, do not crush, divide, or chew; swallow it whole. Take 1 tablet (75mg of eperisone hydrochloride) orally after meals, twice daily. Adjust the dosage appropriately according to age and symptoms.
This medication should not be used in individuals with allergies to this drug or in patients with myasthenia gravis. Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the drug or with liver function problems should use this medication cautiously, as it may worsen liver function. During treatment with this medication, severe allergic reactions may occasionally occur, so if symptoms such as redness, itching, hives, swelling, or difficulty breathing occur, use should be discontinued immediately, and medical advice should be sought. Furthermore, symptoms of serious skin conditions such as toxic epidermal necrolysis or Stevens-Johnson syndrome may present with fever, erythema, blisters, itching, eye redness, and stomatitis, thus close observation is required. Additionally, various side effects such as liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, anemia, rashes, insomnia, drowsiness, headaches, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain, urinary retention, weakness, dizziness, etc., may occur, so if symptoms are severe, consult a doctor. Drowsiness or decreased concentration may occur during treatment with this medication, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, as safety has not been established, and breastfeeding mothers should refrain from use if possible and, if unavoidable, should stop breastfeeding. The safety in pediatric patients has not been adequately established; therefore, it should be used cautiously in children. Elderly patients may have decreased body functions, so care should be taken to adjust the dosage as necessary. Lastly, caution should be exercised when taking this medication along with similar drugs such as tolperisone hydrochloride or methocarbamol, as it may cause vision disturbances.

This medication can be sensitive to air and moisture, so it should be stored in a tightly sealed container. It is advisable to keep it at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C. This will help maintain the effectiveness of the drug for a longer period.
