This medication is used for the treatment of upper gastrointestinal bleeding occurring from gastric and duodenal ulcers, anastomotic ulcers, as well as peptic ulcers or acute stress ulcers. It is also effective for gastroesophageal reflux disease and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It helps improve lesions such as erosion, bleeding, redness, and edema in the gastric mucosa that occur during exacerbations of acute gastritis or chronic gastritis. This protects the gastric mucosa and alleviates symptoms. Patients can expect improvement and healing of gastrointestinal-related disease symptoms from this medication.
