View approved original text

This medication is used for the treatment of idiopathic Parkinson's disease. Initially, it is used alone or as an adjunct to dopamine agonists to alleviate symptoms. Additionally, in cases of motor fluctuations known as 'end of dose fluctuations', it is used in combination with levodopa to assist in symptom control. This helps improve the patient's motor function and manage the progression of the disease. Therefore, it is used in the treatment of idiopathic Parkinson's disease.
