Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with allergic reactions to the active ingredient or any of its components. Using this medication may cause neurological symptoms such as headaches, taste abnormalities, or dizziness. Rarely, various eye-related symptoms such as punctate keratitis, eye pain, dryness, and redness may occur. Dryness of the nose, allergic rhinitis, oral dryness, or contact dermatitis may also develop. Some patients may feel tired after using this medication. This medication may increase sensitivity in the eyes, and systemic symptoms such as weakness, nausea, and pharyngitis may rarely occur. Increased tear production has also been reported. Because this drug contains phosphates, there is a very rare risk of corneal calcification in patients with severe corneal damage. Although this is a non-sedating antihistamine, it may temporarily cause blurred vision after use, so patients should wait until their vision clears before driving or operating machinery. Patients receiving steroid treatment should gradually reduce the steroid dosage under medical supervision when using this medication. Patients with seasonal allergies are advised to start using this medication before symptoms begin and to continue using it during the symptom period. If there is no effect, long-term use should be avoided, and contact lens wearers should wait at least 15 minutes after using this medication before wearing lenses. It is advisable to avoid wearing lenses when the eyes are red. When using this medication in conjunction with other eye drops, at least 5 minutes should elapse between applications, and ointments should be used last. In pregnant patients, the effects of this medication on the fetus have not been adequately studied, so it should be used cautiously under a doctor’s discretion. In nursing mothers, this medication may be excreted in breast milk, so it should be used after consulting with a physician for the safety of both the mother and the baby. Safety and efficacy have not been established for children under 3 years of age. Elderly patients can use it without specific dose adjustments. In case of overdose, immediately inform medical personnel and receive proper monitoring and treatment. This medication is for eye use only and should not be used as an injection or taken orally. Care should be taken to avoid direct contact of the container tip with the eye, and the cap must always be closed after use. Store in a cool place out of reach of children and avoid direct sunlight. Do not transfer to another container.
