Precautions

This medication is an eye drop containing sodium hyaluronate and is used to alleviate dryness in the eyes. Patients with allergies to this medication's ingredients or protein-based drugs should not use it. During use, symptoms such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, conjunctivitis, and redness may occur, so if these symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Additionally, it is important to exercise caution as, in rare cases, eye discharge or eye pain may occur. This medication may lead to increased adverse reactions when used in combination with steroid preparations, dry eye treatments, antibiotics, glaucoma medications, antihistamines, cataract medications, and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, so consult your healthcare provider before co-administration. Do not use this medication simultaneously with other eye drops; if other eye drops are to be used, apply them first and wait 30 minutes before instilling this medication. This medication is for exclusive use in the eyes, and care should be taken to ensure that the tip of the container does not come into contact with the eyelid or eyelashes. If the tip comes into contact, the solution may become contaminated, so always maintain cleanliness. The preservative benzalkonium chloride contained in this medication may adhere to soft contact lenses, so contact lens wearers should remove the lenses before use and may replace them after at least 15 minutes post-instillation. For single-use products, do not instill the first 1-2 drops and discard them; use immediately after opening and dispose of any remaining solution and the container. Furthermore, to prevent contamination, it is important not to share this medication with others. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool place. To maintain quality, do not transfer it to another container.
