Additionally, those with hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, and those with severe renal failure should refrain from using this medicine. This product contains lactose, hence patients with lactose intolerance or genetic lactase deficiency should avoid taking it. It is important not to take medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, antacids, and levodopa concurrently with this medicine. Infants under 1 year old, patients receiving medical treatment, children exposed to sunlight, patients with hyperoxaluria, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, nursing mothers, premature infants, and young children should consult a specialist before use. Patients with gastrointestinal disorders such as peptic ulcers, chronic ulcerative colitis, localized colitis, those with cardiac or circulatory dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, hypoproteinemia, those taking cardiac glycosides, and with a history of gout or kidney stones should be cautious. If symptoms appear such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastric discomfort, constipation, rash, skin redness, stomatitis, low blood pressure, facial flushing, irregular heartbeat, skin rashes, heart failure, central nervous system depression, dermatitis, bad odor during sweating or breathing, hair loss, agitation, gastrointestinal disorders, digestive disorders, upper abdominal pain, pulmonary edema, etc., stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a specialist. Also, if menstruation occurs earlier than expected or if bleeding persists for a long time, consultation is needed to discontinue use. Women taking oral contraceptives containing estrogen or those with a predisposition to thrombosis should be wary of the increased risk of thrombosis when using this medicine. Long-term high-dose use may lead to tolerance, and prolonged high doses of pyridoxine can cause peripheral nervous system disorders. Patients with folate deficiency taking excessive vitamin B12 may display hematological abnormalities. Attention is required as high-dose intake may worsen peptic ulcers or lead to glucose intolerance, hyperuricemia, or liver damage. Overdoses may cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema. Long-term use can result in hypercalcemia and stone disease, hence caution is advised. Concurrently using this medicine with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene increases the risk of hyperkalemia. If an excessive dose is taken or if symptoms do not improve after one month of use, a specialist should be consulted immediately. This medicine must be taken as prescribed, and when administering to children, supervision and guidance from a guardian is essential. During use, it may affect urinary glucose tests and may cause urine to turn yellow, impacting clinical test results. It is advisable to avoid drinks containing tannins such as green tea and black tea before and after taking this medicine. Store this medicine out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place in a tightly sealed container to maintain quality and prevent misuse.
