Liver function test results may increase, so if any abnormal symptoms occur, dosing should be stopped. It can also affect kidney function, so proteinuria or blood test results should be checked. Symptoms of anemia may rarely appear, so caution is necessary. If symptoms of lethargy, dizziness, or drowsiness occur during use, the dosage should be reduced or halted. This medication can cause drowsiness and decreased concentration, so dangerous activities such as driving or operating machinery should be avoided. When used together with similar medications or specific muscle relaxants, visual disturbances have been reported, so caution is needed when combined. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication if the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, as its safety is not confirmed. Nursing women should avoid using it if possible and should halt lactation if unavoidable use is necessary.
