This medication should not be used in certain patients. For example, individuals who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or its components, patients with orthostatic hypotension, severe liver dysfunction, and pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should not take this medication. Additionally, patients with severely impaired kidney function, older individuals, and those on specific antihypertensive or other medications should use this medication with special caution. Notably, when taken in conjunction with blood pressure-lowering medications or PDE5 inhibitors, the blood pressure may decrease significantly due to interactions, so caution is advised. During use of this medication, dizziness or drowsiness may occur, so be cautious when working from heights or driving a vehicle. Furthermore, there may be cases of sudden drops in blood pressure, so move slowly when changing positions. Rarely, allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, hives, abnormal liver function, indigestion, and heart rhythm abnormalities can occur, and if these symptoms arise, consult a doctor immediately. This medication is not for use in pregnant women or children under 18 years old; elderly patients should start at lower doses and be monitored carefully. When taking, do not chew or open the capsule, and it is safe to consume it immediately after removing from the PTP packaging. Keep out of reach of children and avoid transferring to other containers. Finally, while this medication helps alleviate the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia, it does not treat the underlying cause of the condition, so if symptoms do not improve, consider other treatment options.
