Relief of severe and moderate acute chronic pain (e.g., cancer-related pain)
This medication is used to alleviate severe or moderate acute or chronic pain, such as pain caused by various cancers or pain that occurs after diagnosis and surgery.
As tramadol hydrochloride, administer 50-100mg by intravenous or intramuscular injection, repeating every 4-5 hours as needed. The maximum daily dosage is 400mg.
This medication may cause seizures if taken in excess of the recommended dosage, so the prescribed dosage must be strictly adhered to. Patients with epilepsy or at risk of seizures should use this medication with special caution and only when necessary. Prolonged use may lead to psychological and physical dependence, so patients at risk of drug abuse should only take it under strict medical supervision for a short duration. It is important to avoid using this medication in combination with alcohol or central nervous system depressants, as this may lead to severe sedation, respiratory depression, coma, and even death. This drug should not be administered to patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function, pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 12 years old, or those who have undergone certain surgeries. During treatment with this medication, drowsiness, dizziness, and other similar symptoms may occur, thus driving or operating hazardous machinery should be avoided. Symptoms such as seizures, breathing difficulties, or allergic reactions may arise during use, and if these symptoms occur, the patient should immediately consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, this medication has many drug interactions, so patients should inform their doctor or pharmacist about any other medications they are taking. In case of overdose, severe respiratory depression and seizures may occur, necessitating emergency treatment with an antidote such as Naloxone. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and in its original container to prevent misuse or quality deterioration.
Hives, severe swelling (angioedema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe allergic reactions (shock, anaphylaxis, anaphylactic symptoms, bronchospasm), severe rash with fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in mucous membranes of mouth/eyes, severe skin reactions (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), shortness of breath or difficulty in breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory abnormalities accompanied by cough and fever, respiratory difficulties, respiratory depression.

This medication should be stored in a sealed container to prevent exposure to air and moisture, at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage will help maintain the effectiveness of the medication and prevent degradation.
