This medication is effective for the treatment of intermittent claudication due to peripheral arterial circulation disorders. It is also used to alleviate symptoms such as dizziness and vascular or degenerative tinnitus, which is ear ringing. Additionally, it helps treat organic brain function disorders that include dementia-like symptoms such as tinnitus, headaches, memory decline, concentration difficulties, depression, and dizziness. Overall, it contributes to improving blood circulation and brain function, used for alleviating related symptoms.
① Peripheral arterial circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus (ear ringing): As Ginkgo Biloba extract, take 40 mg orally three times a day or 80 mg orally twice a day. ② Organic brain function disorders: As Ginkgo Biloba extract, take 40-80 mg orally three times a day or 120 mg orally twice a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by individuals with specific allergic reactions. Children under 12 years old should not use this medication as there is insufficient experience. Pregnant women should carefully consider taking this medication, as there is insufficient safety data available. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should avoid its use. Those with bleeding disorders or those taking anticoagulants should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Breastfeeding women should discuss with a healthcare professional before use as it is uncertain whether this medication passes into breast milk. If surgery is planned, the use of this medication should be discontinued and consultation with medical staff is necessary. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after taking for more than 3 months, the medication should be stopped and consultation with a professional is advised. If side effects such as headaches, gastrointestinal discomfort, allergic skin reactions, dizziness, or itching occur during use, usage should be immediately discontinued and a doctor consulted.
