Vitamin D is particularly necessary for pregnant or breastfeeding women, children in growth periods, and the elderly. This vitamin helps in the healthy development of bones and teeth, and is effective in preventing bone diseases like rickets. It also aids in strengthening bones by compensating for calcium deficiency. Therefore, vitamin D contributes to maintaining healthy bones and teeth during these times or in response to these symptoms.
